Does pant liners cause irritation

Does wearing the same panty liner causes irritation if you don’t change it… Ik this sound weird but I don’t change mines until the next day when it’s time to bathe ( working overnight and school takes a toll on me 😞) and I felt a lil a irritation and I didn’t think anything of it and I put on a thong and that causes me even more irritation… I’m red down below and kind of itchy but no smell,has anyone else experienced this. I use the poise brand of liners…
