Very scared!!! Blood clot and now spotting!

So I found out on the 1st that I was pregnant!! I have been trying for this baby for a long time now. I went to the hospital on the 1st for cramping because I didn’t know it was normal. My hcg was 759. Today, I went to the hospital because I started bleeding bright red and passed a large clot. They passed it as a possible miscarriage. I had ultrasound, it measured 5 weeks 6 days and no heartbeat could be found and they said it could be because I’m so early since I had assumed I was 6 weeks 6 days today. They sent me home and told me to go to my ob Monday. Am I looking at a miscarriage? Something else? My hcg is 14,217 today. I’m still spotting pink though. I just need help. I’m so scared.
