Trying to potty train my toddler has been an absolute nightmare. We started about a year ago because she was showing signs of readiness. With months of no success we decided to try even harder after she turned 3 in September. We totally cut out pull ups. Big girl underwear only. She’s totally got it down when it comes to peeing in the potty. She knows when she has to go, even in public. The hard part is #2. She has never pooped in the potty. I’ve tried stickers, rewards, etc. She will even come and tell me she pooped. She hides and goes 24/7. We have went through so many packs of underwear because the mess is awful. She even says “Sorry mommy, I know to poop in the potty. I promise I won’t poop in my underwear again.” And then does it again. I’ve tried sitting her on there when I think she needs to go. I feel like I’ve tried it all, and it’s just been an absolute terror. Do any of you moms have any advice?
