Cant shake the things he says to me..

Me and my boyfriend have been together for well over a year now, throughout our relationship we’ve had many arguments, but for some odd reason I can’t shake the things he says when he’s upset at me. He gets mad and gives me the silent treatment, belittles me by saying I’m not woman enough for him even tho I do everything in my power to make him happy, doesn’t want to hear me out and how I feel, always trying to break up with me and not taking accountability, he’s 28 and I’m 20. I just don’t understand what he wants from me? I try my hardest all the time, and although recently it’s gotten a little better I still can’t shake the things he says..
