Odd behaviour????

My baby is nearly 5 months and she's doing weird stuff!

She had slight redness (ear infection) 2/3 weeks ago. The GP said give her calpol/ibuprofen and if she doesn't get better start the antibiotics in 48 hours. We never started them as she improved.

However the last week she keeps clenching, her body tensed up and when she's on my boob she keeps punching herself in the cheek!!! She keeps putting her fits to her cheek/ ear and pushing.. pulling a clenching facial expression! She's tensed up when she does this.

She's not settled in the car, in the buggy.. pretty much nowhere without being on me!

I called the gp back and they said she sounds ok "sounds like colic and teething " we don't think she needs antibiotics. Due to no temperature or changes in milk they don't think she has a ear infection???!!

What could this be ? I'm contacting my health visitor again
