P.I.O. woes

For those who administer their own pio, what position are you doing it in? I do it myself because my DH is squeamish 🙄 and for the past two transfers i have taken to doing them in a kneeling position. It feels easier to reach and gives me stability but I’m starting to think i might have a less painful aftermath if i assumed a different position. Don’t know how I’ll be able to do this until ten weeks, at this rate the pain is accumulating day by day. Random photo i found online for reference.
