Test looks like it’s doubling BUT

Yesterday was my expected period date, I’ve had some spotting starting yesterday afternoon like when I wipe it’s small amounts of mostly brown ish which is usually how my period starts off, my test looks like it’s doubling but I have had 2 chemicals before so the spotting is making me feel like it’ll go the same route. Though the previous chemical tests have not gotten darker like this. I know implantation bleeding is really rare and it’s not usually around the same time you’re period is expected right? I’m a bit stumped, any thoughts?
