Is my daughter too tall for her car seat?

I put her in her seat today and I feel like she looks soo big in it. At least leg wise. But her head looks like she has some room. So I’m confused lol

(Scribbled out parts are because I’m embarrassed and don’t want anyone to recognize me on here. Also I know the straps are low, I just buckled her in quick for a pic then fixed it)

I’d look at the car seat specs on that particular seat and car seat guidelines.

You need to check the limits of the seat both weight and height. Height is measured by the top of the head being 1” from the top of the car seat not on leg space. I will say though if child is over 1 yr old then a convertible seat is what is needed. Infant seats have a different holding position compared to a convertible that’s for bigger kids.

Leg wise doesn’t necessarily matter it’s the height and weight requirements to that specific car seat. Find a car seat tech in your area, free of charge. They are the experts. I’d just look at the manual for that particular car seat & see if she’s over the height limit for it. The way she looks in it doesn’t necessarily matter.
