Finally got my dental bridges !!

So I finally got my permanent dental bridges cemented in place and I’m excited and everything because I’ve always been self conscious about my teeth . However, I can’t help but be worried about getting tooth decay or something eventually causing me to loose my bridges etc. I have 8 of my upper front teeth replaced with a bridge (3 of which where missing to begin with and 5 used as abutments)… has anyone had a bridge here ? Can you share your experience? Should I feel nervous if I’m very very hygienic and take care of my teeth ?
