Do you have to soap your new naval piercing

I just got my stomach done yesterday. I was curious if I HAVE TO soap it or can I just use the solution they gave me?

My piercer told me to use Dial Gold soap.

I got mine pierced as a teenager, like over 10 years ago. But when I got mine, I just remember they wanted to do the salt water solution soak. I don’t remember anything about soap

No soap!! Just saline. Neilmed spray is ideal. Anything but saline will just cause irritation

Still shower like normal but careful scrubbing the sponge around it, just use the solution. Im 29 had mine since I was 16.

Yes, you can use antibacterial soap. It will not harm your piercing in any way. Warm water and antibacterial soap wash away bacteria, dust, and germs. DO NOT USE BODY WASH !! What I recommend ....
