Labor?

With my first son I ruptured and was induced. Right now I’m 38.5 with my second and I can’t tell if I’m having contractions or not 😅 I’m having cramping like I haven’t felt all pregnancy but it’s so inconsistent. At first it was 10 minutes between the first two episodes then nothing happened for a half hour and now it’s just so random when it happens… I’m drinking water and sitting down to see if they stop but I’m just a little scared? The doctor told me to call back when they are consistent and 5 minutes apart.
