Can I ovulate late?

Ok long story short I did 5 mg of letrozole days three through seven this month when in on clinical day 12 had one mature follicle and three that were 13 MM and greater. She suspected I was going to ovulate on clinical day 14. I realize I may not release the eggs on my own but there’s no way I could be ovulating right now, correct? Because the eggs would be too big/too old, correct? I didn’t confirm ovulation because she had me start progesterone in suspected 2dpo which is tomorrow.
