does my baby know i am mom?

hello ladies, so long story short i came to live to my babydaddy’s house a month before i gave birth. it is a big household. it’s him, his parents, 2 siblings & his grandparents. there’s alot of us in this house. after my baby was born i went to work when he turned only 2mo. it was extremely hard for me to go back. so my MIL has been taking care of him since then and she is great! she has been of amazing help since day 1, i love her. i work for the school district so i have had my share of holidays & school breaks off which allows me to be with my baby but i just feel a disconnection every time i have to go back to work. i feel like he is spending most of his time with everyone in the house but me. it is stupid to even say that sometimes i feel like he doesn’t know who mom is. my SIL has a baby the same age as mine, and she had the privilege to stay with her baby up until she turned 9mo. they are both 9mo right now. & i cannot help but compare myself to her. the bond she & her baby have i see it. and i feel like i don’t have that with my son. i have so much mom guilt built up:(
