Being charged for something I’ve canceled!

I recently found out I’ve been getting charged for kindle unlimited since 2021. I had it for a month back then and cancelled it shortly after due to not using it like I thought I would.

My husband told me a few nights ago he was getting charged for kindle unlimited but didn’t have a subscription. I thought it was strange. So I checked and sure enough I have kindle unlimited and fire kids! Both canceled a couple years ago.

I called and had them cancel it on their end. Which she said was successful! Tonight my husband is upset. He said kindle unlimited charged him TWICE both different amounts and now we have $75 in over draft charges. One amount was $11.99 the other $15.99. When I brought it to amazons attention they told me i was not charged and if I claim I was I need to send proof. No worries! I got proof. He told me they have been charging my card and gave the last 4 digits. I argued that they didn’t and I have bank statements to show otherwise. Gave him my husbands last 4 digits and he starts apologizing immediately. He said he now sees WHY the charged him and how it was an accident and how he was sorry he didn’t believe me. I got so upset because we just spent the last bit of money we had on groceries until we get paid in a few days. We have HUGE bills to pay in that check so adding fees on top is not good at all. I’m so frustrated!
