Clomid Question

Hello. So, iam supposed to start my clomid pills today. I am traveling from Dec. 21 to Dec. 24 so I won't be able to test at my fertility office during those 3days. Iam nervous that the clomid pills may make me ovulate earlier than usual and i would ovulate while iam on vacation. So far my IUI is scheduled towards either the 25th or 26th of dec. Because last month I ovulated on day 14. I was thinking on holding off on beginning the clomid until next month when iam available to test daily throughout the fertile window so I don't miss any crucial days. I would ask my doctor but today is Sunday and she is not in the office. Any suggestions?
