I feel like I handled this the best I could

I work at a salon and we do different services that include waxing. This is one of the only ones that will do male bikini and Brazilian waxes. I started doing men a couple months ago and I have a few regular clients. One is a guy in his late 20' and when he laid down undressed I noticed something and I told him "So I'm not going to be able to wax you. I'm not a doctor but it looks like you may have a herpes outbreak." He was confused and started to panic and I told him again that I'm not a doctor and he should probably see one and we can always have him back once he's not having an outbreak. He said okay and left.

Yesterday I had a very angry girlfriend asking for me. She is convinced I gave her boyfriend herpes. I told her I can assure her he didn't get herpes from me waxing him and she tried to say I was doing something else that gave him herpes. I told him I would never risk my job like that. She was not convinced. She thinks he cheated on her with me and I kept saying that wasn't true and I tried to ease her mind by telling her it doesn't even mean he cheated. Herpes can lay dormant for a decade so people can have it for a long time and never know. She is now threatening to report me to corporate and have my job. My boss said not to worry about it but I have been stressed out. I feel I was as professional as possible and I'm worried corporate will listen to her.
