My S/O and I are staying with family right now because of financial reasons. In the house is only women he is the only male. We’ve been here 3 months We have a kid and he hasn’t found work yet and just sits in the room. Recently my aunt asked him to start taking the trash out. I noticed it getting full and reminded him and his response was “ I will when I feel like it” He contributes nothing to the household. I know we aren’t stable financially so I usually get groceries or cook just to help out some. I didn’t know how to respond to him I was just embarrassed and disappointed.
