My daughter is 13 months. It’s extremely difficult for me to get her to pay attention to my face. She doesn’t avoid eye contact but to get her to focus on me is hard. I’m just curious if I am expecting too much at this age or if it’s not realistic. She doesn’t say any words yet besides mama and her pediatrician wants her saying a few by 15 months or wants us to see a specialist. So that is why I’m trying to get her attention and to focus on how my lips are saying a word.
