My friend booked me an overnight and spa with my husbands nod of approval for next week.

I’ve been breastfeeding but baby will happily take a bottle of breast milk. We have just moved her into her own room and when she cries (even just for her dummy) she settles when I go in and pop it back in (or feed her when she’s hungry). With her dad, as soon as she sees him she gets herself so hysterical crying and won’t settle until I come and take her (she settles instantly with me). He’s tried a bottle, draping my clothes over himself and skin to skin and nothing works.

I’m worried about going away for the night incase she’s unsettled all night. Please can anyone give me advice to make nights with dad easier?

Last night we had him try and because he did the first wake she woke every hour (I assume checking for me) we’ve seen a pattern as she sleeps so well when I do all wakes myself
