Steroid Injection for gestational diabetes ?

Hi Ladies 
I hope everyone is keeping well and healthy in this final stretch 🌺 
Has anyone had steroid injections for gestational diabetes and how did it go? 
I had my first dose yesterday and going for another today. Although a very small dose each time I heard it’s very beneficial for baby. Will actually only need 2 doses only. Currently 34w+ 1d. TIA

I had gd twice just had my 4th baby in November with gd and I never herd of this

Are they worried about you going into labor early? Steroid injections can be given to help the baby’s lungs mature in case you do deliver early
