TW: this is weird TW bare with me. I know nobody talks about this anymore but I don’t have anywhere else to post this or talk to about it. So for some reason this past anniversary I had so many things pop up on YouTube and my streaming services about 9/11 and it hasn’t gone away since the anniversary so I decided to watch it all. I was 5 when this happened so I don’t remember much. I had seen documentaries in school but I didn’t see… what I see now.

But as I was watching documentaries I was first of all realizing that there was A LOT of things I didn’t know about it, and also I don’t think people are realizing they they’re accidentally putting gore in them and I’ll explain what I mean and why I think they missed what they had recorded. There is one documentary where the news camera crew accidentally catches someone hitting what looks like a lamp post and exploding. You hear it, you don’t see the person because they’re falling too fast but you see and hear the “mist.” And my brain went “wtf could have fallen that caused that? Oh fuck that was a person. THAT WAS A PERSON.”

Also in some of the most famous photos that showed up in magazines and news articles…there are people.. there are people everywhere. I’m not talking about the infamous falling man or the ones of people hanging out of windows, I’m talking about one of the photos taken as the buildings fell, there appears to be a man who is hanging on to a chunk of debris just free falling through the air. He’s tiny compared to the building, but you can see his white shirt and black pants. Millions of people have probably seen this photo but never saw this poor soul.

I think we all know about the woman in the impact hole but nobody talks about the other people who were also in the impact hole with her. She was just the most clearly seen.

AND in another photo someone took pictures of the debris on the ground at the foot of the towers and on the stairs in the photos there is a human head.. clear as day at the bottom of the stairs.

I’m not understanding why i was shown all of these videos and images before in school for example, and never saw all of this, but as an adult I’m looking again and it’s just.. I am wondering if my brain is processing it completely different as I get older. Did they intend to show these things and just hope we’d see it for ourselves? Did they just not notice them?

There is so much death even in the photos and videos where there was no intent trying to show it. They literally couldn’t be there with a camera without catching it.

I’m sorry I am a little disturbed now and I have to get that off my chest. It makes me so sad how.. some of these peoples last moments, last images, have been right infront of our faces for decades and we never saw them.
