Would you reach out to your brother

Me and my brother don't talk. Not because we had a falling out but because he stopped talking to the family. No one really knows why. Just one day he changed his phone number and stopped answering messages on Facebook. For the last 2 years I've tried speaking to him but I get left on read. He was still posting regularly on Facebook but then stopped for about 4 months. He posted again for the first time with a picture of him on the beach in the water saying "I'm finally free." And my mom pointed out ALL pictures of his wife have been removed from his Facebook. All he has are pictures of him and his kids and you can no longer see his relationship status. I'm wondering if he's getting a divorce. Should I shoot my shot and reach out or wait?
