Is this considered pushing for sex?

My FWB texted me

He asked what I was I doing and he knows I’m on my period atm (we been FWB for two years)

I told him as of right now finishing laundry

He said come seeee meeee we can just talk, hug and kiss

I said hahaha no. That NEVER happens when you say it will it always leads to sex

He responded

And said ok then we can just shower 😉

A little later he sent me 2 cute non sexual cat memes which was weird cos in the two years he’s never done that.

So I said cute 👍

I feel like this was a push for sex and maybe I’m wrong, Is this considered pushing for sex?
