So my bf and I’s four year anniversary is this week. This weekend we are going to a show which was his gift for our anniversary. His shoulders have been bothering him so I decided to get us/book a couples massage with private jacuzzi next weekend. I told him this a few days ago to save the date! Now he’s coming to me saying he can’t hang that day bc he’s seeing friends. He said we can still do the massage but after he’ll go with his friends. I mean I don’t wanna be a crazy gf who is hogging her bf but I was excited to have a romantic night with a massage and jacuzzi and then spend time together. It just made me a bit upset because hey we planned this beforehand… why are you choosing your friends over this? I answered very chill like yeah I’ll just cancel the plans no worries… but deep down I’m pretty sad and I was just wondering if that’s valid.
