My sister is getting my niece baptized in a few weeks. She's having the first baby in the family, my parents first grandchild so her christening is a very big deal. My husband grew up in the church but now refuses to step foot in the church and I'm not sure why. He never told me what made him against church and Christianity/Catholicism. I thought he would at least come to my nieces christening but he said no. I said it's for the family and he said no and he's never stepping foot in a church again. I asked if he could just tell me why and he got aggravated and left so I'm leaving it alone. My mom really wanted the whole family there. I'm not sure how to tell her my husband is refusing to go. I'm thinking about waiting until the day of and just saying he's sick.
