I shouldn’t have visited my mom

I went over to my moms earlier and it was nice at first. Just hanging out and gossiping.

Then after a couple hours, she starts bringing up stuff that I did in high school that I’m embarrassed of or things that happened that traumatized me and she’s like laughing about those things. I was stunned at first because I haven’t talked about these things with anyone in a really long time.

I was kind of upset and then left afterwards.

Why would she randomly bring that up.
