Ok, so I’ve really had my heart set on a natural birth. The facility I wanted to go through is called Charleston Birth Place on case any of you out there have been there before or have some insight on their care and treatments. Everything that they have advertised about a natural birth experience with them has me sold, and I really don’t care to deliver my baby in a hospital now. The problem is the $500 out-of pocket fee they’re asking for. I already have insurance, but the $500 they’re asking for is supposed to cover what my insurance won’t; like the birthing classes for example. Between me trying to get everything together for the baby and still put away money for once I’m out on leave, an extra $500 is a lot to free up and give away.
