Umm DUH!! In what context is that even a conversation to be had? My hun genuinely makes me feel like the most beautiful woman on earth and if he ever has moments where I might not look my best, he's smart enough to keep it to himself rather than put me down.

Don’t ask questions that you don’t want an honest answer to. Unless you look like a model, or his favorite celebrity, who he probably thinks is a 10. You are fishing for compliments, or validation and I get it , you want him to say 10 but he’s being honest. If you don’t want an honest answer then don’t ask. People always get offended.

This is why I’ve always said that looks do matter. I don’t mean in the sense that you have to look like a “perfect model” but I do still feel you should be a 10/10 to your partner. 
That’s why I wouldn’t see myself dating someone I’m not physically attracted to. I want to be able to be honest and say YES YOURE A 10/10 TO ME.

If u asked, u should’ve been ready for any answer. If he offered the info, did he do it to hurt you or in what context. I’d let him know u don’t need him to critique you when you didn’t ask.

First of all, I would never be asking for a rating from my partner (or anyone for that matter), needing that level of validation is sad. If he took it upon himself to rate me, I'd be extremely bothered even if it was a 10. Rating people is a disturbing practice in my opinion. If you're asking someone to rate you, you better be OK with the answers. If you aren't, then you might as well just tell him you want him to rate you but he better not dare to be honest unless it's a 10 😂 at least warn the guy about what he's getting into when you ask for a rating lol ￼

A 10/10 is subjective.. I think it’s degrading to rate anyone on their appearance, but you can’t say you’re not a 10 because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Contrary to the other commenter, I don’t think you need to be a “model” to be a 10, and although I wouldn’t want anyone to compress my worth down to a numeric value, I would only hope my partner makes me feel beautiful & loved.
