Does this count as a period?

So I’m suppose to start my placebo pills in 6 days and that’s when i usually start with drawl bleeding. I was stress few days ago and i started breakthrough bleeding (i assume bc i was stressing for a few days). Yesterday i spotted a little and my significant other and i had sex and after that my spotting went to a light flow.. when i woke up today i bled thru my pants and now it feels and looks like I’m on my period….

I’m going to call my doctor when she opens but that’s not till 9ish. Any idea what’s happening?

I take my birth control around the same time each night.
