Am I wrong??

Question

Okay so here’s the backstory. My kids age 4 and 2 are doing swim lessons at a persons house. My 4 year old goes first while I play with my 2 year old, then they switch. I asked the instructor today if I could use her restroom and she said no. But that I could leave my 4 year old with her and go find a McDonald’s. I found this super off because it’s her choice to operate out of her home, and I would never leave my child/children with someone who isn’t family or a designated babysitter. Am I wrong?

No you're not wrong. I would've grabbed both of my kids and went to go find a bathroom. She was probably just offering to be nice so you don't have to pack them both up to go. I don't think there was anything nefarious about her offer, but I sure wouldn't do that. I think it's odd that she runs a business out of her home, but does not have any accommodations for a restroom. ￼
