RhoGAM shot after chemical?

It’s been 5 years since I’ve had a baby. I have had 2 chemicals recently, and didn’t even think that I may need to get that shot. 6 years ago I got it with my miscarriage in the ER when I was 9 weeks. Now I’m fearful I should have with the chemicals. Anyone have experience with this?

you would only need it if you were bleeding and pregnant, the reason for the shot is so your body doesn’t “attack” the baby. i had 3 chemicals before i got pregnant this time and unless i start bleeding at any point i won’t have to get the shot until around 27 weeks.

I got it 5 years ago during my first pregnancy due to first trimester bleeding. I had a chemical/early MC  back in July around 6 weeks and the doc said new guidelines are to give it if further than (I think she said) 8-9 weeks. So I didn’t get it following the MC.  I’m now 23wks with a new pregnancy.
