Gender by its heartbeat?

Is it trye that you can tell the gender by its heartbeat? I am 10 weeks pregnant and everyone says its a girl when they see my ultrasound.

No, it’s an old wives tale. The only thing that can confirm gender is an ultrasound and/or blood test

No. I have 3 boys and their HRs were 170s at 8 weeks. Then 150-160s for the rest of the pregnancy. I’m 27 weeks tomorrow with my first girl and her HR is 135-140s now

Are you sure it's heartbeat and not nub that's making people say that baby is a girl? Although nub isn't recommended until 12+ weeks. I don't think the heartbeat to determine gender is very accurate as we all go through active and quiet phases where hr will vary
