herpes or something else?

Starting a few months ago, I would bet extremely itchy, and then I noticed a raw spot of skin on my labia. Itches for about a day, then feels raw and sore, but clears up within a day or so.

It didn’t happen again so I didn’t worry about it, but now it’s happened four times this month. Same thing tho, where it’s raw for like a day, and then just clears up, so it’s hard to go to the doctors to have it looked at.

I’m going to the doctors in a week, but wanted to know anyone else’s experiences so I can prepare myself. If anyone has experienced genital herpes, is this what it looked like?
