Not on the same page?

I’ve been telling my mans that I want an engagement. For months now, and his excuses are he wants me to give him the “love look” lol. And he wants to see how our families blend. But tbh we were engaged already he shouldve already thought about that the first time he proposed & wanted to get married through Justice of peace 6 months after, he ended it in 2022 or early 2023 because we were going through troubles but I feel we’ve grown. We communicate better. We’ve learned from our mistakes.

I feel like I’m just here wasting time, I’m not getting any younger. I know what I want & he seems he’s unsure of me. What do I do?

* we were never married nor divorced lol, I’m saying he ended the engagement
