Hi about 4/5 dpo what does this mean? I understand it’s a ovulation test could it be picking up the hcg already? (previous test also postive)

There is absolutely no need in continue to test with OPK’s after an initial positive. At 4-5DPO, implantation hasn’t even occurred yet, so no, it’s not picking up pregnancy level HCG. LH can surge temporarily at any point of our cycles. What matters is the initiation of it. It could be possible in more unlikely cases that your Jody failed to ovulate with the first surge, and another attempt is being made. Also, during the TWW, Wes experience a secondary surge in Estrogen, which could lead to a temporary rise in LH, resulting in a positive OPK.

You wouldn’t get a positive pregnancy test that fast. You either didn’t ovulate last time or are having a random surge

Its too early implantation hasnt even happened yet. You can have multiple surges during your cycle and lh fluctuates so there is no need to use opks after your first positive opk. If you believe your opk is positive because you are pregnant then youd also have a positive pregnancy test.
