So my 8 year old son is having a career day in a couple weeks. My husband can’t make it and I’m a sahm. I’ve been debating on going or not cause I don’t really have a job. I know that being a sahm is a job in a sense but I also feel like the stuff I do (cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids) is what working parents also have to do on top of their job. I feel like my biggest job is just basically taking the household work load off of my husband when he gets off(he is a great husband and still helps when needed). Anyways, I’ll probably go regardless just to be there for my son.

My question is though, do you think it’s kind of silly for a sahm to go in and talk about their “job” on career day?
