Mother-in-law & sister-in-law “drama”

Ca

For four years I’ve made organic herbal skincare and sold it seasonally at our local farmers market. I’ve been making it for my children for six years though. Through word of mouth, I found out that my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are making herbal skincare and have a booth they’re going to set up once the farmers market begins in two weeks.

My sister-in-law has never been interested in herbs or crafts at all. She doesn’t have children and has a lot of spare time so she and my mother in law do a lot together. My mother-in-law has always been into home remedies and we always bond over sharing different home remedies. The two of them are very close, but I have three children and 7 months pregnant with #4 so I don’t see them very often and get left out a lot.

I called my mother in law and told her I was hurt by hearing this and asked her why she didn’t tell me or ask set up with me at the farmers market since we both like making herbal remedies.

She said she was sorry and that I can sell my items in their booth if I want. I just told her I’ll still set up at my booth that I’ve sold at for four years and have my sign up. I was nice and just let it go because it’s not a big deal it just hurt my feelings.

My sister in law is by marriage she’s not my husbands sister.
