TMI question…

So I’m extremely regular cycle-wise, like pretty much to the exact day every month. I’m two days late right now, I thought my period was starting yesterday morning because I had some EXTREMELY light pink “spotting” almost like tinted discharge yesterday morning when I wiped so I assumed it would just progress into full on bleeding. Well it hasn’t it just stopped, I tested Saturday and it was negative. Has anyone had this happen? I’m going to test again in the morning if my period hasn’t started.
