Placenta previa anyone?

I went for my anatomy scan on 3/7 and was told by my doctor after that everything with baby boy looked fantastic BUT I have placenta previa. He did not tell me if it was complete, partial, or marginal. He just said that since I have not experienced any bleeding that he is not super worried about it but did put me on pelvic rest. I am scheduled for a follow up ultrasound to check on the position of the placenta 4/4. Just wondering what experiences others have had with this. This is my 3rd baby but I didn’t have this issue with the first two.

I had marginal placenta my second pregnancy, and as the uterus expanded the placenta moved. Same thing this time with 3rd baby, hoping it moves by my next US in a few weeks.

I had a partial previa with my first. It moved on its own. I logged into my dr office portal at that time and read their notes to see their exact terminology so I could understand more. If you can see your dr notes they’ll have documented full or partial.

You’re not alone. I have partial placenta previa. This is my second and didn’t have this concern with the first. My doctor has explained that it can correct itself with time so trying to stay optimistic. Thinking of you!
