should i take the risk?

me and my boyfriend do the deed very rarely. when we do, we are extremely safe about it. we make sure i’m not ovulating, we use protection, and when he knows he’s about to finish- we stop and i finish him off with my hand/orally.

prom is coming up, and the app tells me it’s during my fertile window (one day before ovulation). i personally want to have the “prom experience” and have fun after. in the past, i’ve had unprotected sex on the day of ovulation (using pull out method) and nothing happened. should i take the risk and follow every precaution we normally do? or find pleasure without sex?
