Cannot agree on name!

Ugh! I’m at my wits end with this topic! Bear with me because I know this will be all over the place but to preference, we had no issue deciding on our last baby girl’s name.

I know the gender of this baby but my husband does not and it will be a surprise for him, so we are picking 2 names. This time around we both agreed we’d use my husband’s dad’s middle name (Lane) for either gender at his request. I’ve been the one to send all the name ideas this whole time and he just says yes or no to putting them on a list. Ultimately my husband loves the name Karsyn for a girl, so I’ve accepted that for a girl name out loud and if this were in fact a girl I would go with it but we’re having a boy. I LOVE Deklan for a boy and have for this whole pregnancy, so much I feel it in my soul that this IS the name. My husband does not agree nor does he hate it but anytime someone asks if we chose names he says “we’ve decided on a girl name but nothing sticks for a boy”. It’s to the point it’s causing issues. I agreed to use his dads middle name and I feel like he should meet me in the middle since he can’t come up with any other boy names and doesn’t like anything else I’ve ever suggested! And I’ve suggested plenty of boy names, he’s just freaking picky and it’s driving me nuts! Any suggestions? My heart is set on this name and the only other names that have come remotely close my husband says no and that they remind him of random people (like politicians) 🙄!!
