Do I have attachment issues?

My daughter, 4 is very attached to me, since birth. Most nights after our cuddles before bed, I get very emotional and think about once she’s a teen and young adult, this type of attachment will disappear. I’m pretty much preparing myself already. Don’t know if this is what some other moms experience or this stems from my rocky relationship with my own mother. Once my mom became an empty naster, she hasn’t been supportive but rather bitter where I’ve moved and how I do things. And I don’t parent my daughter the way I was brought up. How do you feel about your kids getting older?
