Do condoms smell? TMI

This is a weird post but this a genuine question.

I’ve only tried Trojan and Skyn. I love skyn because I feel like it doesn’t have that latex smell. I’ve only been with 3 guys. My bf is the only that has complained about wearing one because he tells me he hates the smell and hates how “cum is collected inside and hates having to touch that plastic” literally what he said. The other 2 guys I’ve been in the past were casual so I can see why they never complained about wearing one because we were never committed.

I got off the pill 8 months ago and I wanted to do FAM. I’m going to start Spirolonactane for my acne and I really want to get off the pill because I don’t want all these pills in my system. Everything was great and lately my bf refuses to wear it. He says it’s gross and it smells. I told him that’s fine we just won’t have sex and there’s been occasions where I don’t see him unless I have confirmed ovulation because he only wants sex without a condom

Has anyone had their partner complain? Is it really bad that I am enforcing a condom? Sorry for multiple questions ☹️
