Normal to go without communicating?

You think it’s normal for your boyfriend to go 2 days without talking to you? I’ve been the one the past whole week now initiating contact whether it’s via text or call and I’m getting annoyed. I expressed to him I feel he’s been keeping me in the dark and how I’m an afterthought/last priority. He apologized and said he’s not doing it on purpose just has been “busy and tired”…like I get that, but that excuse goes only so far. I have a hectic life too but I make time for my partner even if it’s a simple “hi” or “hope you’re having a good day”. Also asked if he wanted to do something next weekend and he basically premeditated that he won’t be able to 8 days out because he has stuff going on…🫠 Like if he’s suddenly lost interest after asking me to be his girl just 3 weeks ago then he needs to man up and just say so? I don’t like being strung along and left guessing and feeling neglected? Yes I can reach out to him AGAIN buuut I shouldn’t have to? He was good about putting in equal effort and now suddenly with this whole “stress with work and figuring out his new life goals” excuse the vibe is off. I just want to hear about his day and be somewhat kept in the loop with things but being given the silent treatment is odd behavior, especially from a 30 year old guy who claims he’s dating for marriage and really wants to settle down and hates the dating games/scene but is going against his own word.
