Worried about bleeding with Nexplanon

I just recently got the nexplanon implant and this is my first cycle with it. I had no bleeding or negative symptoms for 4 weeks but then I started by period and I’ve now been bleeding for more days than usual. I’ve heard other people say they experienced consistent bleeding with the implant to the point that they had to have it taken out. I’m worried now that I’ve started bleeding and it’s not stopping that it might happen with me as well. Did anybody else have this experience or any advice?
