Is this a good sign??

TW: mention of miscarriage

So I got a positive test on Friday, started spotting on Sunday, and went to the ER for a blood test and ultrasound. I knew it was too early for an ultrasound and I knew they wouldn’t see much.

So my first round of blood work, they took at 3:30 Sunday. Before I left the hospital that evening around 5:30 they took one last vile of blood to test my hcg again.

I just checked the app and saw both blood tests. At 3:30 Sunday my quat hcg was 28. At 5:30 that same evening it was at 36. I’m going back in about 30 minutes for my 48 hour bloodwork but I just wanted to know if the fact that it was still rising before I even left, is probably a good sign right? 🫣

I had two miscarriages back to back about a year ago and I’m on edge about this one 🙃

Update: my hcg was 58 at my blood draw today. Clearly that’s just a little more than double but does it still seem low ???
