Hotel recommendations in the Smokies please!

We are hoping to make a family trip to the Smokey Mountains in August for a few days. It’s myself, my husband and our 4 year old daughter. I’m looking for recommendations on places to stay. I really wanted Westgate Resort: I was so excited for the water park and playground and basically just how kid friendly it is. But it’s about $275 a night and we cannot afford that…. I did also find a Holiday Inn Express that had a water play area but it was also $234 a night. I’m trying to find any other hotels / lodges that are closer to $100-150 a night that also have a nice indoor / outdoor pool with some slides or a play area for kids. Breakfast and trolleys to gatlinburg or pigeon forge are a huge plus! We want to do some hiking as well as Dollywood and Ripleys. And again if we had a hotel with some slides or a kids play area I know my daughter would love that too. But if there is nothing like that, that’s ok! We can just see about making a trip to one of the water parks. But I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations to help me with my search.
