Is it a red flag that my boyfriend said he hopes I woman he dated dies?

My boyfriend's was talking to my brother about his worst ex. He said she was an awful person and also an hair head. The dumbest person he ever dated. That she would start stupid fights for no reason. For example she started a fight with him because he was reposting on tiktok too much and the notifications annoyed her. Now I know about this ex and she's not a good person but what he said just made me feel uneasy. He has a best friend who is a recovering addict my boyfriend says "She also gave my best friend drugs after being sober for 8 months and then tried to fuck him after she got him high. Anyway I hope she dies." Like that's pretty intense right? I don't wish death on anyone.

@MLP no she's actually horrible. Her own family doesn't fuck with her.
