He puts his family first

I don’t have a big family anymore. I’m not very close with any of my family members. Some moved away. And some drama happened within the family and everyone split up. It breaks my heart because I didn’t have any drama with anyone but no one stayed close with me or ever calls or texts me.

This is gonna sound awful but I’ve always been jealous in relationships when their families came before me. My current bf who I live with always puts his family first and it upsets me.

I know that’s a normal thing, especially since we aren’t married. But I get jealous. I guess it’s because I don’t have a family to put first, so he comes first to me. But I don’t come first to him. And it hurts my feelings.
