Advice plz don’t be mean
I’m about 99% sure my son’s dad is a gaming addict. Memorial Day weekend he didn’t want to do anything. Now today he went back to work. He came home, eats then passes out on the couch. That was what like 3 hours ago.
He doesn’t spend anytime with me or our son. He don’t do shit. He does this everyday. Says he can’t sleep but he’s busy on his game. He’s an addict who won’t admit it.
I know, leave right?
Well that’s not so easy for some people. If it was I would’ve been gone by now. Now with that said, the reason I struggle is because he refuses to help me if I move with our son. He’s not going to take me to court, he’s going to ride it out long as he can before I have to take him to court myself.
Also, I’ve never been to friend of the court or anything to do with child custody or child support.
How do I prove he don’t do nothing with or for his child? He can go there and they just take our words for things? He doesn’t have a work schedule. He can’t even make my kid lunch. Like what in the hell. And tbh I don’t want to share my kid. I’ve done everything and I mean everything for my child. He hasn’t done shit. So for him to just cash out and have his mom watch our child the whole time either way he gets to live his best life while I struggle. Then if I go find myself a good job, I might have to pay this deadbeat child support. Tbh, I feel trapped in a nightmare. I need some sort of insight or help here. Thanks
Update, sorry I think I came across the wrong way. I want my son to have his dad in his life but the guy don’t show any interest to be a full time father. I’d hate to see him sign off his rights that’s not what I’d like to see happen to my son. Terrible. If it was up to me I’d like for him to step up and be the father he should be for his son.
